Regent Seven Seas racked up an impressive number of awards from virtually every travel magazine and organization back "in the day" when it was Radisson Seven Seas Cruises. We see no reason that this tradition of excellence will change. In fact, there is evidence that Regent is upgrading their product offerings. That's hard to imagine since it was already our pick as the BEST Large Ship Cruise Line for 3 out of the past 4 years!

There are so many things about Regent that set it apart from the "competition". The most notable are the HUGE suites on Seven Seas Mariner and Seven Seas Voyager. Both ships feature "all-suite" and "all-balcony" accommodations earning this cruise line our Editor's Choice Award for BEST Accommodations.

A good cruise director can make the difference between an average cruise and a truly memorable experience. In our opinion, Regent has the best cruise director in the business. Barry Hopkins has been entertaining people since he was 18. This British star of song and stage has even performed before the entire British Royal Family at the London Palladium. Barry's impressive resume includes Regent Seven Seas's QE2, Sea Goddess and Renaissance. He is Regent's longest serving Cruise Director and has worked the entire fleet.

Butler service is a relatively new offering on cruise ships. However, we have quickly become spoiled by having someone at our disposal to handle things like shore excursion tickets, dinner reservations, suit pressing, etc. Certain Penthouse Suites (and all larger suites) on RSSC vessels come with the services of a butler. We have been fortunate enough to enjoy RSSC's butler service on four separate cruises and each butler has been incredible. It seems as though any request can be handled by these amazing, service-oriented professionals.
